Visited Searcy Academy Sports on Friday 12/12/2025. I had noted some sale items that was on Academy Sports website. When I got to the store, I attempted to locate the items I was interested in. Could not find those items..? Looked for someone to assist and there was no one to be found! Finally by asking some other shoppers they directed me to the area and I did locate what I came for. I also noticed an item for my Grandson that showed 50% off. I took that item and the others to checkout. When I told the lady at checkout that the one item was 50% off; she said only when you buy one at full price!!! I explained nowhere on the display does it mention that. She was not willing to have someone check the display so, I told her I did not want the item. I did not have my phone and could not take photo of the display. I did go to another Academy sports and purchased the item for 50% off. Not a fan of the Searcy Arkansas Academy Sports. Shop a different store, you’ll leave happy.

I ordered a pair of shoes, upon checking out an error message popped up. I then used my Klarna account, same message, tried Klarna again-nothing. Never once got an order number, no confirmation of said order, NOTHING. ACADEMY NOR KLARNA have record of any purchase ordered or pending. However, they have put temporary holds on 300.00 on my checking account which will take 7 days to be put back into my account. Their reasoning for this, a GLITCH IN THEIR SYSTEM. Your multibillion dollar companies glitch just took Christmas dinner off my table and a gift from under the tree for my kid. Real classy Academy, real classy.
