Wish there was a 10 star rating. Because BCFA, is worthy. Been going to BCFA for a few years now, and have become a lifetime customer. They have a fantastic selection of both new firearms, and even more on consignment. So if you're looking for something special or perhaps not on the California roster they just might have it. Several ex law enforcement personnel seem to trade their older models for newer ones, so then it's available to a person like me. (reg citizen). But what I really appreciate about this gun store is the customer service, I've had gun smithing done on WW1 and WW2 firearms, as well as competition triggers for my newer guns. Scopes, bore sighting you name it, they can do it. The staff is always helpful and not pushy, Trish and Todd the owners are 2 of nicest people you'll ever meet. Mike and Terrel are good guys, and the others that work at the shop are equally as friendly and helpful. But being a creature of habit, I usually work with Todd. In addition BCFA are gun people, yes they need to make a living, but I feel they care more about promoting the sport of shooting. And whatever level you're at, they will accommodate. A few of my friends have started going here and they also are hooked because of the fantastic customer service. I feel, most of world is only concerned about the almighty dollar, and at larger corporations like Bass Pro or ????? it's just about the sale. A turn off for me. Lastly I don't use a computer, and probably never will, they help me fill out the application with making me feel stupid for not being tech savvy. In closing, if you're a gun enthusiast give BCFA a shot. They also let you use their FFL ammo license to ship directly to the store, and all they ask is that you pick it up ASAP, they are a gun store not storage shop. I asked Todd once, how can you afford to do that, you don't make anything when customers do that. He said, maybe the customer would use them for other needs like purchasing a firearm or gun related products. Personally I think it's humanity at it's finest.
