It's a fair distance from my home in Quincy to Susanville. If I come in and purchase a firearm do I need to make a second trip in to take possession of it? How long does it take to get approval for the purchase/sale

Answer: Yes you’ll need to make 2 trips in order to take possession of the firearm. The state has a 10 day waiting period which includes the weekends.
