About The Tactical Boutique

We are located in West Hartford and have a shooting range. We provide firearms sales and also offer classes, including the pistol permit required class. We provide firearms transfers for pistols (revolvers and semi-automatics) and long guns (rifles and shotguns). We also sell ammunition, small safes, bulletproof items (vests and panels), as well as cleaning products. We also sell survival items (i.e. water purification and emergency kits).

Able was very friendly and helpful. He made the whole process quick and easy even for a first time gun buyer like myself. I definitely recommend this shop if you’re looking for great customer service and knowledgeable staff. I will certainly be back in the near future!

Q&A

I am an army vet and I miss going shooting. It was one of my favorite things about my time in the service. My wife won't let me keep a gun in the house and I will continue to honor her wishes. Can I rent something and shoot it at this range?
Answer: Hi Alexander... first, thank you for your service. It's sincerely appreciated. Yes, you can absolutely rent one of our range guns. We have a bunch of options to choose from, and rentals are only $15. If that's something you are interested in doing, just give me a call, and we can get you registered as a member. (Or, you can stop by.)

I have a gun I was hoping to sell, do you guys purchase in house? I was looking to sell a Glock 42 and buy a Ruger max 9
Answer: Thanks for thinking of us for your business. While we don't purchase used guns outright, we do offer a consignment option. If you want to sell a gun, you can bring it in, and you pick the price for the item. When it sells, you'll get 80% of the sale, and we'll keep 20%.
