I went yesterday to buy a weapon light for my Glock 43x and they had it listed for $199.99 and I bought it and once I got home I tried to find a cheaper price at one of their competitor’s store so I found one on scheels for $179.99 and I went back today to return it so I can buy it back with the price match. So the manager came to verify and said they couldn’t price match with scheels because it wasn’t within range but on academy site it says they would honor the price match. So I proceeded to show him the exact model on scheels site and he tries to argue with me and say it wasn’t the same item so he denied the price match. As a manager he failed to read the details on the description and it was the exact model! So I want to show everyone on here the item on both sites and the manager that was working today was terrible and this wasn’t the first time I had an issue. Look at the model #69503 it matches! He told me the one at scheels is a model 6000 which is probably a newer model but failed to realize that it’s the 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum! That’s just the features of the product not a freaking model number! I hope the manager sees this post and hopefully the district manager will see it as well!

This store has lazy incompetent people, I bought a pair of shoes online yesterday but I needed a half size bigger, so I went to exchange them. When I asked for help finding the correct shoe the clerk pulled out his phone and looked online and said they didn’t have anymore. I told him I wanted a full refund on a gift card and he only put 25 on the gift card and the rest on my other card. I then proceeded to online pick up the exact pair I was asking to exchange. It didn’t have to be this complicated they could have just not been so lazy and help me find and exchange for the half size bigger.
