I had such a great experience this Sunday at the firearms section. One they stocked the pistol I was looking for when Bass Pro couldn't even pick up their phone. I had called the night prior to see if they had it in stock and it was held for me since there was just one available. The process was seamless. It did take a while but its because the staff have to do their checks and are very thorough. This was my first Academy firearm purchase and I have to give it to Jordan. The dude was running the show and making the sales happen. I felt very confident with how he handled everything and the item. Such a cool and friendly guy. There was a young lady who was also very approachable and she made sure the transaction had no error. I have to hand it to these two for being so great at what they do. Bass Pro just loss their business. Go to this Academy in Macon if you want the best service.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: DO NOT APPLY FOR THE ACADEMY CREDIT CARD NOR allow the salespeople to pressure you to sign you up. The Academy Credit Card bank they use is Comenity Bank aka Bread Financial. I had an issue with a payment from my bank this month and Academy Credit Card charged me a $30.00 insufficient fee and would not fix the issue so I made a payment in the store. Now I received a letter stating they suspended my account due to this error even though my account is current and not late. As soon as I get this sorry card paid off I’m closing the account. Bad business and the call center must be outsourced overseas because they speak terrible English and are rude. I am trying to build my credit up but getting this card is a mistake. This credit card company has many bad reviews also. THANKS TO THEM MY CREDIT SCORE IS DOWN ABOUT 100 POINTS. AGAIN IF ASKED TO SIGN UP FOR THIS CREDIT CARD FIRMLY DECLINE APPLYING FOR THIS CRAPPY CARD.
