Cabela's

Well, I drove all the way down to Cabellas today and had two hours until the store closed. I WAS going to purchase a crossbow, however I was told that I have to purchase it when a certain employee was working. I was told they couldn't even sell it to me UNLESS this person was here. Really? I guess I will drive over to Scheels and THEY can take my business. Nice customer service....

The store has an excellent selection and many items and brands to choose from. We went to look for work boots with safety toe and they had plenty of options and sizes available to try on. There were two people working the shoes so we never had to wait or go find someone to assist with getting shoes. There is a nice little exhibit of animals (not live) for children to see. The store was a bit warm and we were not in there very long but were sweating. Also, we were approached by and had a difficult time ending the conversation with a representative from Hilton Grand Vacation with a summer deal. They talked to us for longer than we wanted when we already expressed we were not interested and did not want to be rude by just walking away. This vacation deal after some research is a total scam. This forced conversation brought down our otherwise good trip to Cabela's.
