Center Target Sports

I attended my first beginner firearms class ever today. Whitney was truly an incredible instructor. She made me feel so comfortable navigating a firearm for the first time. This has been such an amazing experience, im already looking at more classes!!!! I highly recommend Center Target Sports and if you have an opportunity to take a class with Whitney, DO IT!

Facilities are decent - not anything crazy special, but probably won’t be going back. Initially, I called in to ask about bringing a group in to shoot. Hadn’t been to this range before so wanted to know what they were about, what they needed from us, and lane availability so we came prepared. After literally 45 seconds on the phone and two questions, the guy on the other end says “I need to let you go. I don’t have time to talk to you.” Excuse me? I was ready to call it at that, but the family was insisting on going for our holiday break so we went in anyway. Staff was mostly friendly and accommodating in person but there were a couple with fairly significant attitudes or superiority complexes… Finally get into our lanes and start shooting. Nothing rowdy, all single shots, no full auto, perfectly controlled and significantly slowed down from regular pace as requested at the counter (was counting to 2 in between every shot). Almost immediately the range master started whining at us to slow it down as if it wasn’t already slow. Apparently they want you to count “3 Mississippis” in between each shot…. 🙄 So just be warned that you have to be face to face with the staff to get friendly service and they will be upset if you’re shooting anything other than a muzzle loader… Not worth the $20+ a pop to get whined at the whole time in my opinion.
