Academy Sports + Outdoors

Went and visited Academy sports today for the grand opening and I have to say the store was quite nice! Everything was so perfectly stacked in line, in order and everything was priced. There were quite a few people there but it was also the grand opening so it was expected. All of the employees were very friendly and asked if I needed any help finding anything and many employees were available for help if needed. Ended up scoring a 10x10 ft canopy for $29.99 and they they have some other Grand Opening deals too! They have one line for the checkout and they announce when the next cashier is available. Sherry was my cashier and she was very friendly. They have a promo right now that if you sign up for the credit card you get $15 off of your purchase. Very nice store and will be returning.

accused me and my friends of stealing. Was followed all throughout the store the entire time and when we left the guy following us said something about one of us stealing to a cop outside and we had to wait for them to check cameras. We didn’t take anything and we were good to go. This incident occurred Sunday. We are extremely upset and feel this was extremely disrespectful. Do better.
