Academy Sports + Outdoors

I stopped in here for the first time today. I was amazed. Out on the southwest side of town. We have two sporting good stores and both of them are atrocious. Their pricing is terrible, their inventory is near nonexistent, services god-awful. I ended up spending 45 minutes in the store and that is unusual for me. I will be back tomorrow to pick up my new handgun which was very competitively priced and in inventory! They also have fantastic deals on range ammo, and a huge selection of defensive ammo. I’ll be picking that up too. I also picked up some sauces and spices from the outdoor cooking area and a couple of shirts from under Armour and Columbia. I would suspect this is going to be my new favorite store! Keep up the great work.

I was excited to find out Academy Sports was coming to Fort Wayne. I have been to other locations before, but they didnt have one close to me. I love the fact you guys carry Bear Mountain BBQ pellets. That brand is kind of hard to find around here. And when you do, they are all blends. I live that you have individual flavors of the pellets. That way I can make my own blend, or keep it simple with a single flavor. All the fishing and camping items are great. And of course the guns and ammo as well.
