As a first-time gun owner, I was pretty nervous about making a purchase. I originally ordered online, and Ed quickly got my order started and confirmed without any issues. Unfortunately, there were some delays outside of the store’s control, so I ended up going in person to complete my purchase. Ed went above and beyond throughout the entire process. He was always professional, apologetic about the delay (even though it wasn’t his fault), and answered the phone right away whenever I called. He even came in on a Sunday—when the store was closed—just to meet with me one-on-one. Since I was new to this, he took the time to walk me through everything with patience and care. As a former police officer, Ed’s knowledge of firearms and gun laws made me feel confident and at ease. The store had a great selection, the process was smooth once we met in person, and he even gave me a generous discount because of the delay. I highly recommend On Target Training for anyone looking to purchase a firearm. The customer service is outstanding, and the experience made me feel supported and safe—something that’s invaluable in today’s world.

Poor communication skills and customer service experience and did not fully know the gun laws, which was surprising given the amount of years of experience they cite having. I was told that someone with a Class A LTC (which is now just a Mass. LTC) cannot carry on their person loaded in their car under the new gun laws and the salesperson made a general statement at the time when saying this with no reference to magazine size, which is just entirely inaccurate. When I inquired more about the new gun laws he was referencing, as he was missing some very important specificity (or was just entirely ignorant), salesperson became very defensive. Remember, accurate information is very important when it comes to gun ownership, as your life and freedom can actually depend on it. Consequently, I highly recommend you go somewhere else where the salespeople are more competent and professional.
