I wanted to get a new holster for the new Ruger Max 9. No one has the holster or was willing to make one when it just came out. Contracted FH and explained the difference in the new model. They were happy to take on the challenge to make one. To say it’s comfortable is an understatement. Money well spent. Definitely coming back to upgrade for the rest of my EDC. Love it.

I am first going to say that the holster I received is exactly what I wanted and looks to be built perfectly. The reason the company is getting 3 stars is due to the wait and frustration I dealt with. I ordered the holster on 03/31/25 and just received it on 08/31/25. It took 5 months to receive the product. What made it worse is the fact that a few weeks after I ordered it I contacted the company for an update because I was considering canceling the order due to an issue I was having with the firearm. When they responded to me they informed me that it was almost done. I then waited to receive the product and never got it or any more updates. I even emailed multiple times before I got a response. I then called the shop and talked to Jim and he was helpful and told me that they hadn’t even started on it yet and had no clue why I was told that it was started on. Jim did contact me 2 more times with updates after I emailed them again. Like I said at the beginning it is a very nice product but getting lied to in the beginning and the extreme wait time is why they got a 3 star rating. I was very torn because I was about to give a lower rating but it is exactly what I wanted. One last thing before I wrote this review I read another review and the person stated how fast the experience was and they got a rush job and even got a free magazine out of it. This is another thing that frustrated me. It made me feel that they will push other orders a head of overdue orders and they do nothing to try and make up for the extreme wait. So good product but horrible wait time and response time to emails very lacking.
