Renaissance Firearms

I have visited Renaissance Firearms several times, and it has become one of the places I confidently refer my firearms students to in the Seacoast area. Every visit has been positive, and the more I learn about the people behind the business, the more I appreciate what they are building. Renaissance Firearms is a veteran owned, community focused shop and indoor range operated by Buddy Hackett and Devon St. Cyr. Both served in the Marines during different eras, and they bring that sense of service, responsibility, and integrity into everything they do. The staff includes veterans and members of the local community, which gives the shop a welcoming and grounded environment while maintaining strong professional standards. As a veteran myself, I notice the small things. A dedicated veteran parking space may seem simple, but it speaks volumes about their values and respect for those who served. The indoor range is clean, well maintained, and professionally managed. As a firearms instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer, I pay close attention to how a range is operated. Their safety procedures, policies, and overall environment reflect a serious commitment to doing things correctly. It is a place where I am comfortable sending new shooters because I know they will be in a responsible and well organized setting. A couple of years ago I visited during one of their yard sale events and had the opportunity to meet Buddy. He took the time to speak with us and was genuine, welcoming, and clearly committed to the community he serves. Renaissance Firearms offers more than the usual gun shop experience. Under one roof they provide retail sales, gunsmithing, cerakoting, engraving, training programs, and a modern indoor range. They stay actively involved in the local community and support veterans through coaching, outreach, and various initiatives. It is rare to find a business that blends professionalism, integrity, and community values as well as they do. Renaissance Firearms has earned my respect, and I will continue recommending them to my students. Highly recommended.

Cool spot, been around (not in this location) for years. Decent selection of firearms, mostly used (which I dig) and range fee is reasonable. Range itself is very clean, brights and user friendly. Their system allows you to have target go out and spin at chosen intervals which is a great upgrade when shooting on square range. Staff is wicked nice and helpful. Only thing I don't like...ammo, they just don't have the greatest selection of ammo. they got at least one example of each of the big rounds and more...but usually it's just one or two brands and the prices are meh. But if you just need a quick box it'll do ya.
