I have been a repeat customer with gun purchases, great place to buy guns but I should not have to stand there 2 1/2 hours to pick up a gun that I purchased online. Picking up another one tomorrow so I will edit and update this review, hope that they do better because this will set the stage if this is my last purchase from them or not. Ok an update on the last purchase, I bought a gun that was in stock at the store online, they charged my card . 2 hours later I get a message that they didn’t have that gun at that store like they said they did? So I canceled the order so that I do not have to drive 49 miles to the other store. So now they say I’ll get my money back in 7 days lol , enjoy that 7 days Academy this was my last purchase with your business. They took my money instantly but I have to wait 7 days to get it back .

Kellie at customer service is the best. Everything I shop at academy my family always looks to see if shes working she not only gives great customer service and fast check out she is guaranteed , to put a smile on your face before you leave out that door. And as she quoted to me and my family As long as you leave with the smile on your face , it makes me have a smile on mine.. wish they were more people in this world like her. They was this other young girl at customer service has long breads she is so rude and hateful . And really needs to watch her language around people's children
