I’m 59 years old, and I had a great experience buying my first ever firearm at Mazama Sporting Goods! The gun counter associate took the time I needed to help me pick out the best rifle for my beginner skill level. He carefully showed me how to work all the mechanisms of the guns I looked at. It was super awesome to be allowed to hold the guns, dry fire them and operate all the parts to experience how each one felt to operate. Online shopping IN NO WAY COMPARES to your excellent customer service, expertise, and the hands on buying experience you offer in your shop. Thanks Mazama!

We have bought multiple firearms from this store. Recently 3 handguns. About a month before we bought an AR15. First time I used it I have had nothing but problems with it. I took it into a reputable gun smith here in town that the shop recommended. Took it out for the second time and same problem again. Very frustrating spending this much on a gun that has so many issues. I took it in to the store only to be told that I’ll need to email the manufacturer. They won’t help, they won’t offer any advice other than change my ammo. I’m not expecting money, anything free, just help… and instead of that I got three different opinions and told the ammo I’ve been using is bad and that the store warranty is expired. This is after it’s been to their recommended shop that told me the ammo used was not the issue and could not cause the problem I am having. Worst customer service. I will not be back and I’ll be sure to spread the word about my experience.
