**Firearm Counter Review** These guys are absolutely horrendous. There's two young ladies that work the counter that I never had issues picking up online firearm orders from. I had such a terrible experience with the last firearm purchase that I finally said "to hell with it just give me a refund". At this point I would rather spend the money at Cabela's/Bass Pro. The manager back there, Jeff, treats you like an absolute burden. Instead of applying customer service and working to help you, he's dismissive, arrogant and ridiculously rude. Worst customer service I have had in a VERY long time, probably ever. I bought 4 other firearms here in the last 90 days to add to my collection, and THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I DID ANY BUSINESS HERE! If you have to go here, deal with the young ladies who work the counter. Everyone else is only going to waste your time, make you take 2-3 trips to the store just to say "We can't do anything for you, sorry", blow you off and look relieved about it. ***NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE - GO TO CABELAS/BASS PRO JUST DOWN THE I-5***

Overall, the store offers a decent variety of hunting and fishing gear. However, my experience with the hunting/firearms section was disappointing. The staff attempted to mislead me in order to sell the Sportsman’s Warehouse extended warranty for a firearm. While purchasing a Glock 17, the salesperson repeatedly pushed the warranty and used misleading and incorrect claims to justify it. I was told that I needed the warranty because the Glock would “break quickly” and that it was “no longer being produced.” This is completely false. It appeared they were trying to confuse the situation around Glock’s generational changes (Gen 5 vs. newer models), but the statement itself is simply not true. Glocks are widely known for their reliability. I have owned my first Glock for over four years and put nearly 15,000 rounds through it without issues. Replacement parts for Gen 5 Glocks are readily available and will continue to be available. While I recognized this as misinformation due to my experience with firearms, this kind of sales tactic is especially concerning because it targets new gun owners who may not know better. Using fear and false information to upsell a warranty is a very poor and dishonest practice.
