A.F. Boyer Hardware & Guns in Slatington, PA is hands-down one of the best places to shop. The staff is incredibly welcoming. Pete and Lou in particular were amazing to work with. They took their time, never made me feel rushed, and really educated me on what I was purchasing, which made the entire transaction smooth and effortless. The moment you walk in, you feel like family. Everyone is friendly, outgoing, and genuinely says hello as you walk by. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend stopping in and saying hi and making a purchase or two as well!

Overall an excellent place to buy guns and ammo! Staff is super friendly and always willing to help. The selection of guns is pretty big, just not always tons of variety. Decent amount of optics on hand as well. Great place to do FFL transfers! Bottom line, yes it's a small place but you won't find nicer people and usually good deals on modern and some old school firearms. Ammo is always reasonably priced as well.
