⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ I had a great experience at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Abilene, TX! The store was clean and well-organized—each section was neat, fully stocked, and easy to navigate, which made shopping super convenient. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially the cashier named Sarah. She had such a positive attitude and made checkout a pleasant experience. Even though the lines were pretty long, they moved quickly thanks to the number of cashiers working. I was especially impressed that even the customer service desk was helping with checkouts—really shows their commitment to keeping things running smoothly. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because of the initial wait time, but honestly, they handled the rush well. I’ll definitely be back. Great service, great selection!

The store was a decent size, and was very clean. The only issue I had with the entire experience their were no employees on the floor to help in any department that I could see and I walked completely to the right back side of the store, and there were only 2 cashiers when I went to go check out and there were about 12 separate parties standing to be checked out and there was one cashier at the service center/pickup orders. If a company is going to carry very low staff at least offer 4-6 self check-out lines.
