I’ve had an ongoing problem with this Sports Academy & Outdoors location in Austin, TX. Someone keeps using my phone number at checkout for their purchases, even though I live in Georgia and have never visited this store. Because of this, my purchase history keeps filling up with items that aren’t mine, and I have to contact customer service every time to get it deleted. I’ve called both the store and customer service multiple times, but I keep getting told there’s “nothing they can do.” Meanwhile, the person using my number seems to be a regular customer at this location. It’s extremely frustrating that there’s no verification system in place to confirm that the number actually belongs to the customer using it. I just want this location to take steps to stop this from happening, because it’s been going on far too long.
