My first time visiting Scheels and I was absolutely blown away. This is hands-down one of the most impressive sporting goods stores I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you walk in, it feels like more than just a store—it’s an experience. I love the concept, I love the Ferris wheel, and I especially love the staff. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. When you ask a question, you’re met with genuine expertise and thoughtful answers, not guesswork or pressure. That alone sets Scheels apart. The selection is outstanding, the layout is engaging, and the overall atmosphere makes you want to stay, explore, and come back again. I truly wish Scheels would open locations out east—this is the kind of place people would travel for. I would highly recommend Scheels for all of your sporting goods needs. Whether you’re a serious athlete, an outdoor enthusiast, or just looking for quality gear backed by great service, this store delivers. I would also be honored if the corporate office reviewed this. Scheels is an incredible store — it’s huge, clean, and has something for everyone. The first time I came here I was a little overwhelmed because it was so busy, but my second visit was in the evening and it was much more relaxed. I’d definitely recommend coming during a quieter time if it’s your first visit or if you just want to browse. There’s plenty of parking, both in the front and back of the building, and check-out is super easy and efficient. Inside, there’s a giant Ferris wheel, an arcade, and even bowling, which makes it a great spot for families or anyone looking for more than just shopping. Overall, a really fun and well-run store that’s worth checking out at least once — just plan your timing if you want to avoid the crowds.
