I've bought a few guns, and some reloading components in the past, stopped in yesterday to find they are heavily gouging on reloading components, primers were $15/100 and powder was $55-80/# All were way above retail, and what can be found online, and get free hazmat I get paying a little premium for the convenience, but 2x is ridiculous. They were never great, they're isolated, so they're just gouging locals.

Don't waste your time getting a gun appraised at this store try to say a gun I have was only worth 1,000 at best A Winchester Oct. 7th, 1879 (1885) Highwall 20-gauge takedown shotgun is a rare and valuable firearm, with its value depending on its specific condition, originality, and any special features. For a rare variant like this, the price can range from approximately $2,500 to over $7,000, with more pristine examples fetching even higher prices at auction, according to sites like LSB Auctions and Invaluable.com. Value factors Rarity: The 1885 Highwall takedown shotgun in 20-gauge is an uncommon variant. Condition: The percentage of original finish and overall working order significantly impacts value, with 95% original finish potentially being worth around $9,750. Originality: The presence of original parts, such as the buttplate, is crucial. Special features: Specific features like a Schuetzen-style stock, double-set triggers, or a special sight can increase the value. Market: Auction results from places like Rock Island Auction Company show that rare models can sell for a high premium. Estimated value Lower-end: A firearm in 20% original finish could be valued around $2,250. Mid-range: A rifle in 50% original finish might be worth $3,200. High-end: A pristine example could easily exceed $7,000 to $9,750. Recent auction: One example from 1913 sold for $1,825, while a 2010 auction estimate for a similar model was between $4,500 and $7,000. ..... low end is 2,200 not a 1,000 like that say
