Great store with a wide selection of gear for both hunting and fishing! I was impressed by the variety of products available. They also created a lovely holiday setup with a decorated Christmas tree and even a free photo opportunity with Santa, which made the visit extra special. Bass Pro Shops in Irvine is honestly just a fun place to wander around, even if you’re not a hardcore outdoors person. The store is huge, and the moment you walk in you’re met with this giant aquarium and waterfall that makes the whole place feel like an indoor adventure park. Kids love it, but adults kind of become kids again too. The store has pretty much everything — fishing gear, camping essentials, clothes, boots, coolers, and even boats and ATVs to look at. It’s one of those places where you go in for one thing and somehow end up browsing for an hour. Most of the staff are friendly and actually know what they’re talking about, which helps if you’re new to outdoor stuff. There are a couple of small downsides: the lighting can feel a little dark in some corners, and certain sections (like fly-fishing) can get a bit messy on busy days. If you’re buying a firearm or something with extra paperwork, the wait can be longer than you’d hope. But overall, it’s a great spot to shop, explore, or just kill some time. Whether you’re picking up gear or just checking out the displays, it’s an easy place to enjoy.
