Wyoming Antelope Club

I’ve been coming to this range since I was 17 years old and learned how to shoot a rifle here. I am a resident of St Petersburg and frequent this range. I went today to shoot a load workup that I made for a new precision rifle and when I got there the RSO told me that the range fees had gone up to 30.00. I kindly walked away. I refuse to pay this much money to shoot at this club. The place has gone down hill over the years and not sure what goals leadership has for this range. I know that a lot of people including all of my friends that are into firearms and shooting sports will no longer pay this amount of money to this type of facility. I drove all the way to Reload Gun Range in Palm Harbor and had a great time. I shot my rifle in the prone position and was able to collect my data for my load development with zero wind and relatively low humidity conditions. Oh by the way it was half the price. It’s very clear that this club is not interested in letting the public shooter in anymore. From the outside looking in I feel like this club is in trouble and won’t be around for long. You missing the mark WAC. If you’re looking for a good range experience check out Manatee Gun club or Reload gun range. Both are cheaper and have nicer facilities. I hope that this review doesn’t fall on deaf ears but judging by the way this place operates now I’m sure it will. This place is heaven on earth! I'm a rookie in the practice of my second amendment rights and these people were the best in making me feel welcomed and very respectful. They allowed me to ask a million questions and actually thanked me for asking everything. Prices were very cheap and the range itself was professional, safe and a fun environment. This was my first time ever going to a range and I'm glad this is where I ended up. It has set the hook on me to begin my firearms career and I highly recommend this place if you are nervous about going somewhere. This place and staff is perfect and I can't wait to go again!
