Our little Grandbaby had an appointment for a Santa picture and we were invited to join. Although I had been in other Bass shops, I had not seen this one. It was a very busy time for those working but the store was tidy and well put together. There didn't seem to be random items in odd places or piles of stock, cluttering the aisles. Everything was exceptional and the people were friendly. Because our DIL was thoughtful and had made an appointment, we had no wait despite there being a line and lots of excited children. The Holly Jolly Fellow was dressed in his best and tried to make our shy little to grin. Though he did not, he was fascinated enough not to scream or cry, and watch the animatronic deer bop up and down from the safety of his parents' arms. Pictures were had and bought. Things went smoothly. The crowd continued as we explored while waiting for them to arrive. They were nice when of the three of them but when both set of grandparents were added- the photo was a bit wonky. Instead of centering the group, the focus stayed as it was. By doing so, choices are made when displaying it. To include my husband, I must push the picture to the left and use a larger frame with a backset or he half disappears but we keep our clear display of the deer. It might be a wise notion to either move the photographer or -perhaps- warn of the possibility so that it might not be a consideration next year..? Just an idea. After we received our prints, our Grand was ready to go. They left and we continued to explore the store. It was nice to see the array of items and a bit surprising that there were so many brands we knew. Though our holiday shopping was already complete, there were many items that would have been wonderful gifts. It was a pleasant surprise to see the variety as it wasn't what we expected. The men's clothing was very nice. That they had everything from soft, light breathable shirts to heavier and more durable overalls reminded me that there is a place I could go to find these things for the guys in the family. Golfer or hobby gardener, dress or casual. The prices were reasonable. Some were high, some were 'deals'- and it looked like there was a variety to choose from. As a person who likes to touch the fabric before they buy it, to look at the seam to see if it will frey when pulled or tugged, it's a bonus over online purchasing. We were impressed by this store and the hardworking employees. It really is nice to see a store, even with a parking lot full of cars, keep enough employees to maintain a neat store and also have people there to help if you need it. It appeared that those who worked here really liked doing so and were happy to be helpful. We'll be back and we'd recommend someone visiting this store. It was well worth it.

This is the second Bass pro shop I have been to. The first one was in Leeds and I immediately noticed a difference. The one in Leeds I think is like a real Bass pro shop that was built as a Bass pro shop. The one in Augusta was converted from a Cabala's. It's weird that I don't know much about the brand but I can tell a big difference. But I'll be honest with you The prices are not that bad. My son and I were in Augusta visiting family for Christmas and we had a good time there so I would definitely recommend it if not just for a place to hang and leasurely shopping.

Answer: I work there. We don't care.

Answer: They permit RV overnight parking. Always ask first. :) Get the RVPARKY app. It maps camping and boondocking spots. We are frequent boondockers.

Answer: I would think so. I slept there from 4 till about 10pm in March of 2019 without issue. I would verify with someone inside if possible first though
