Deatons Gun Shop

I made a purchase from here a few months ago and they are the nicest people to deal with. You walk in and you are greeted like you’re an old friend. They didn’t have what I was looking for at first, but took my name and called me a few days later when the item arrived back in stock. Their customer service is the best. They are personal, welcoming and knowledgeable. Even though I have two stores closer, I’ll drive the extra 15 miles to shop or have items shipped here for transfer.

They’re in-store selection is great and their prices are comparable to any of the big box stores, but let me just tell you, if they don’t have it in stock, they have it on line and at prices that other local shops can’t even touch! They also have a great accessory selection with very fair prices. Finally, John Deaton is a kind and unassuming guy. He doesn’t put on that “know-it-all macho” vibe you get from most gun shop staffs. He’s easy going, and is never condescending. I bought two rifles from the online store and picked them up within 5 days, no shipping or FFL fee and the total price was about what I would have paid at bass pro or academy. Very happy with the purchase and service I got here. It’s a Loganville Treasure.
