I really wanted to like Huron Valley Guns, but my experience here ended up being extremely disappointing and honestly pretty unprofessional. I purchased a Tavor X95 from them that turned out to have a misaligned barrel from the factory — a serious safety defect that caused rounds to shave inside my suppressor and created a legitimately dangerous firing condition. This isn’t something a customer could cause. This was a defective firearm sold as normal. When I brought the gun back, I was told they needed to “take it up with the owner.” I said that’s fine, I’ll speak with him directly. Instead of coming out, the owner stayed in the back and sent his employees out to deliver the message that there was nothing they were willing to do. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t unreasonable — I simply expected a gun shop to stand behind a firearm they sold that was unsafe out of the box. Being told to “just talk to IWI” and brushed off felt like they couldn’t care less about the safety issue or the fact that the gun they sold me was defective from day one. The bare minimum would have been some accountability, some willingness to help, or at least the owner being willing to speak to me face-to-face instead of hiding behind the counter staff. IWI confirmed the issue was a factory defect, but since I wasn’t the original owner, the warranty process is now complicated — leaving me stuck with a gun that was dangerous from the moment I bought it. It’s disappointing to feel like once the sale was made, the support and responsibility ended immediately. I’m leaving this review so other buyers know that if something serious comes up after your purchase, don’t expect this shop to stand behind what they sell. I hope they take this feedback seriously, because selling a defective firearm and refusing to help make it right is not how you build trust in this community. At this point, I’m considering whether this needs to be raised through the proper consumer protection channels, because selling a defective firearm and refusing to help resolve it is a serious issue.

Awesome guys. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. Daren who was one of the Range Officers was especially helpful and patient. Willing to offer any help he could without any of the typical pompous attitude which unfortunately seems to come with a lot of ranges and gun dealers these days. He helped my son and I get 3 different rifles zeroed in for for gun season. Great overall experience from the range counter all the way through.

Q&A

Is steel cased (non corrosive 9mm and 762x39) ammo allowed. Every place has different policies and they tend to wait until you show up with a bunch of loaded mags to inform you of them.
Answer: If you fill out the online range safety questionnaire it specifies. From memory, they don't mention the casing, only the bullet can't be plain lead or steel core

Are the CPL classes NRA certified? What is the class size? Thanx
Answer: Yes, CPL classes are NRA certified. I'm not exactly sure as to total class size but my CPL class had 10-15 people. P.s. the instructors are incredible; friendly, light hearted and want everyone not only to learn but also to have fun.
