Membership is pricier than other ranges in the metro and the ammo is nuts, just go to Fleet Farm and get good “made in USA” ammo for half the cost of the Turkish ZSR rounds they sell you here for a stupid premium. Also would recommend not trying to sell a firearm here, they will lowball the crap out of you. I got offered pocket change for a pistol here, insultingly low. Went to scheels 8 minutes away and immediately got $250+ extra on my sale. If you go to the range a lot, and buy ammo elsewhere, it’s not too bad here.

I have been to a lot of gun ranges and this one definitely stands out. When you walk into most gun ranges it looks intimidating and has a total bro culture vibe. You often wonder if you are welcome as no one comes up and talks to you and most of the employees don't come off as very welcoming. Not here! They have a much more welcoming environment and as soon as I walked through the door someone came up to me and welcomed me asking if I had any questions. The range itself has sort of a north woods vibe with all the woodwork. They offer tons of training including virtual tactical training and so on. This will be my new go to moving forward. I will still visit some other ranges here and there, but after visiting Stock & Barrel Gun Club I will make this my primary gun range for my personal training.
