The worst experience I’ve had at any academy’s. Ladies if you’re going in to buy a firearm with your husband, and he so happens to take charge and speak for you SOME. You won’t be able to buy a firearm, regardless of your background check and regardless if you’re married. Even though your husband can buy his own firearm. The guy at the back, Steven B will put a 30 day denial in the system for all academy’s. Needless to say I will never go back to that academy. You’ll be better going 12 miles up the road to the next academy where everyone is a nicer and has a better selection. Update. Called and spoke with the managers, and all they did was come up with lies to cover up their employees. My husband and I have bought firearms from them plenty of times. 3 to the exact. So we know the process of purchasing a firearm. They lied and tried to say the refusal was because my husband said he needed a background check done on him so I could get a firearm?? Which makes absolutely zero sense and never happened. Oh and my husband is also on the denial list since we’re married because marriage matters now to them. It sounds like Steven’s ears are just there for decoration, or he had a terrible Valentine’s Day (it was the Sunday after Valentine’s Day) and wanted to take it out on someone lmao i don’t know. It truly doesn’t make any sense.

Went is looking for some jogger sweats. Trying to find prices on each rack in this store is awful. After SCANNING the item with the Academy app, found they were on sale for $31 and some change. Go to customer service because no other registers weee open and they ring up $55. I explained then I scanned them with the app they were $31. The supervisor said “that’s an in app price not in store price” and would not honor the sale price. Pretty sad when retailers don’t even honor their own sale price. I mean since the rack didn’t have any pricing information and I had to find it thru their own app.
