I visited the Academy at NW Military & 1604 looking for an item. They were out, and I approached a young man behind the counter at the front of the store for some assistance. He was able to verify with him that there were none in stock at his store, but he decided to check the other stores in the area. He found that there was 3 items, that I was looking for, at the Bandera & 1604 location. So, I paid for the item at the NW Military store and opted to picked it up at the Bandera store location. I can tell you that the employees at both locations were very courteous, professional, and customer service-oriented. I look forward to going back to either one of these stores, at a future date, to purchase additional items when needed. I hope you take the opportunity to visit one of these stores and your experiences is as good or better than mine.

Not enough cashiers were on duty, so checkout lines were long. Almost every rack was overstuffed with clothing items, making it difficult to browse through, and clothes were falling off due to the lack of space. The final results of this overstuffing were clothes draped over the tops of the racks, hanging by one arm or one side of a collar, or clothes on the floor. C'mon management: it's unnecessary to stuff every clothing rack to 100% capacity. It's a big turn-off if I can't slide a hanging garment over an inch or two when searching for my size. It's like wandering through a maze full of booby-traps; if you take something off of a rack, 3 more items fall off when you try to hang it back up. Too much trouble. Floors are worn and ugly, time for a reno. You might want to rethink the entire floor layout also- it really is time for an update. On the plus side, merch is priced competitively, and they have a large selection of footwear.
