The Gunsmith at Sportsman's Warehouse

Disappointed with the gunsmith. I contacted Lyman at this business about work on my handgun slide; I needed one stripped screw removed. After a week, I called the store for an update and spoke with Lyman, who gave me the runaround, saying he had a project that needed to be completed. He stated he'd email me by the end of the day, but never did. After a month, I called the store again, and they informed me that my slide was never in the system for work and that they would get it done. They apologized and offered to fix my slide for free before returning it to me. I received the slide and they ended up never working on it. This business is unprofessional to say the least. 0/5

After trying several gun ranges and sporting stores that had gunsmiths - but didn’t - I finally made it to The Gunsmith at The Sportsman’s Warehouse. I walked in with my shotgun 15 minutes before closing time just to ask a question about my repairs, fully expecting that I would come back earlier the next day or leave my gun in order to have the work done. He expertly and efficiently found the problem AND fixed it on the spot in less than 10 minutes! Now that I know he is there, I will take all of my firearms to him with any issues. Lyman is best and nicest gunsmith in town, hands down.
