I recently bought a New/Old Stock Winchester 94AE Timber Carbine in 444 Marlin. When I received the rifle, I took it out and shot it; (3) times it tore my shoulder up. The rotten factory recoil pad did nothing to absorb anything. I emailed John, he emailed be back. Ina few days I took my Carbine too him. He suggested a Pachmayr Decelerator Recoil pad and a set of XS rifle peep sights. I bought the rifle for crawling in dense brush to Hunt with open sights. I picked up my rifle this week. He and his staff did an "Excellent job on my rifle", and at a Fair price. If you're like me? You need work done to any of your firearms? I say visit John & his staff over in Boyce.

Have taken two pretty old firearms that were missing parts, to have them restored to function (in 2017 and 2025). Both times they did a great job. Small shop, but HUGE results. Price was more than reasonable. Super knowledgeable staff. What a find!
