Many years ago I was looking for a certain item. I contacted Cody Teel and confirmed he had the item. So I made an appointment and went to Wheatland and met with him. We said we could go try it out at a gun range on the edge of town. He made a short phone call, when we went outside a deputy Sheriff was waiting down the street and followed my vehicle when we drove to the gun range. He was waiting nearby and followed me some more when we left. I am ex law enforcement and easily recognized that Cody Teel had called them and asked them to come to his house and follow me. They seemed to have a business relationship where he would call them and they would follow behind and act as security guards while he demonstrated the firearms items. And also, to collect identifying information from my vehicle tags. I believe they also photograph and identify his customers for reasons only known to them. Needless to say, I did not buy from him. When I go to buy from a retailer I don't expect to be scrutinized or be treated as a criminal suspect. Dont' trust this guy, because he certainly doesn't trust you.
