If I could give it zero stars I would. I waited in line for 2 hours to purchase new rifle. I was called to come pick it up and now waiting 2 hours to do so. Employee behind counter moves like a turtle and telling us "I'm here till 8pm and sorry blame corporate. I will never shop here again...... Obviously their corporate office doesn't care after seeing all these negative reviews on here and Yelp. Stop giving your business to them, go to Cabela's or any other store where they care about their customers. Please see the same automated reply from sportmans below that they send to every review but nothing changes

Left my details with an employee to give to the manager since they had already left for the day when I called to share my fiancés experience at this store. To the woman who “helped” him at the gun counter, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. My fiancé ordered himself and me firearms online at Sportsman’s website, his firearm got delivered there the other day, mine is still on its way. So he decides to go in there on his lunch break, this lady at the gun counter starts “helping” him and he mentions something about my gun and purchasing it at the same time and it’s crazy how much longer it’s taking for it to arrive than his did. She immediately starts freaking out on him telling him that he needs to leave because in Washington you have to purchase a firearm under a card in your name and that what he is doing is illegal cause he’s purchasing a firearm for me. He tells her that, yes although he paid for the firearm, we live off one income, that we are engaged, getting married in May and have lived together for 4 years and in Washington state that’s recognized as a domestic partnership, and that when my gun has arrived at the store, I will be the one in there having it registered to me, not him. He also mentions that if we were to have purchased the gun in cash their would be absolutely no way to tie that purchase to anyone so he doesn’t really understand the issue, and also apologizes because if it is a law he didn’t know about it, as we are both first time gun buyers. He asks if he can just get his, and we can repurchase mine in a card under my name, which isn’t a problem. She gets furious, he said she treated him like a criminal, said that now she believes he is purchasing a gun to give to other people and that she “can’t have that”, kicked him out and then black listed him from the store. I don’t know if it’s just your store policy, but if it is in fact a law that you can’t purchase two firearms for two people living off one income and residing in the same residence on the same debit card, then I’m having a really hard time verifying that. Every gun owner we know says they’ve never heard of this??? And if I and everyone else are incorrect, my apologies. BUT regardless this woman’s behavior towards my fiancé is absolutely appalling, you shouldn’t have a job lady! My fiancé is the kindest, most respectful individual to walk this earth, so I can say that without an ounce of doubt, he gave you any reason at all to act towards him the way you did. I will be contacting the store again tomorrow and requesting to speak with the manager about the experience he had here. Absolutely appalling behavior from this employee. Even if he gets unblacklisted, we will never be returning to shop at sportsman’s again. So disappointing.
